Kicking off the season we’re off to Taupo where the Toyota 86 Championship begins its 11th season with a host of new drivers and a starting line-up of four women. It’s also the start of a new season for the Summerset GT New Zealand category with several new Porsche’s on the grid and last year’s Toyota 86 Championship Brock Gilchrist – in the Giltrap scholarship McLaren.
Also appearing are the TradeZone GTRNZ cars, the Super V8 category that includes the superb TA2’s, SuperTourers and the V8 Utes. Joining the grid is Pirelli Porsche and the Nexen Mazda Racing series.
